Guess what? You don't have to make that shopping list for winter wardrobe must-haves this year..

We have done it for you using our top winter style icons!

#3: Knitwear

Knitwear is of course the most obvious winter necessity, yet you can never have too many jumpers! It's the ultimate layering piece for any occasion.

Workwear: If you're looking to add to your workwear collection, we suggest versatile colours such as grey, white, black or navy. These colours will complement the widest array of outfits, and can be reached for half asleep in the morning.

Weekend: If you're looking to spruce up your weekend wardrobe, then we encourage you to go for a bright colour! A bright jumper will give you a fresh, dynamic look and you can simply team it up with black jeans and a dark jacket.

Colour of the season: yellow!

#2: Overcoats

A quality winter coat is the pinnacle of your winter wardrobe. Your coat needs to be a perfect balance of stylish and comfortable!

Workwear: If you're in the market for a formal coat, then it's all about the fit. It needs to be wide enough across your shoulders, and fit comfortably around the waist - to avoid any bunching up when you button up.

Weekend: If you're going down the casual route, we recommend a parka. They're practical and come in all shapes and styles, meaning there is bound to be one that's perfect for you. You can try before you buy with us!

#1: Scarfs

Scarves are the ideal accessory to protect you from the cold & instantly add another dimension to your look.

Workwear: If you need a scarf to complete your workwear look, then keep it simple. Wool or a wool-blend depending on your budget, and a neutral colour such as grey, navy, or black. Wear it like Idris Elba if it's reasonably chunky (above middle), or like Daniel Craig if it's more delicate (above right) .

Weekend: A traditional tartan print is our choice for your weekend wardrobe, and wear it like Beckham (above left). If you tend to go for a black coat and want to inject some colour into your winter look, then go for a burgundy base. If not, go for a grey or brown base.
